(School Self Evaluation)

School self-evaluation is a continuous process of review undertaken to improve the quality of education provided in our school. The process followed is in line with the guidelines on school self-evaluation issued by the Department of Education and Skills.

Our school commenced the process by gathering evidence about the strengths and areas for development in literacy. From this we devised a three-year school improvement plan in literacy with a focus on comprehension. Further detailed information on the plan is available in the SSE report for 2014 on this page. A similar process was followed for numeracy where the area of focus is problem solving. More detailed information is available in the SSE report for 2015 on this page.
