Parents’ Association

The Parents’ Association is an active and important partner in our school community.  It works with the principal, staff and Board of Management to build effective partnership between home and school. The committee of the Parents’ Association is elected each year at its Annual General Meeting in September. The Parents’ Association meets on a regular basis in the school and undertakes projects in consultation with the principal and Board of Management which are of benefit to the pupils, parents and staff.

Many of its activities are of a practical nature supporting school functions or endeavouring through fundraising to support school initiatives and improve resources within the school.

The Parents’ Association also has an important function in providing a parental perspective on school issues and initiatives.
